Donkey Rugs – Design/Features

• Waterproof, breathable, machine washable fabric
• High neck line (Donkeys have narrow shoulders and the high neck is necessary to prevent the rug slipping)
• Cotton/cotton/nylon mix lining (Donkeys are not clipped so the lining does not need to be thick)
• Metal “d” for fillet string
• Tail flap
• Adjustable cross belly straps, attached low down on the rugs. We will try cross belly straps but may have to change elastic circingles as it is difficult to get the belly straps in a good position on some donkeys.
• Two, 1 inch wide, long nylon webbing straps on chest to allow for 3” adjustment and plastic “fold over” fastening buckles, placed off set on the should to allow for a 3” adjustment with a Velcro fastening overlap
• White panel on inside front of rug to allow for size information and farm name to be written in indelible pen so that they are returned to the correct location after cleaning
• Longer depth option for each size as some donkeys are narrow and some wide
